What makes a strong proposal

Include a working title, the main point, the intended reader, and a short outline of how the piece will answer its question. Note any sources or product instructions the piece depends on, and disclose relevant commercial interests. Avoid pitches built around unsupported promises, undisclosed promotion, or claims that one routine suits everyone.
